Role: User experience, visual design, motion studies, prototyping
One of the projects I worked on with Second Story was for the interactive experience in the World of Coca-Cola. This multi-roomed, large-scale project was themed with a fun and mysterious concept around the “secret formula” of Coca-Cola.
Upon entering, the audience waits near a wall of security monitors. Secret messages and characters randomly surprise them on the screens. I created an animated prototype and visual style for the appearance of the monitors and secret messages.
In the Taste Maker room, users mix and match “flavors” attempting to re-create the Coca-Cola formula. Representing the flavors and hinting at effervescence, the playful movements work in sync with the addition and subtraction of flavor.
In Homes of the Secret Formula, users take a closer look at historical photographs. Suspicion rises as hidden parts of the imagery is revealed. The visuals you see were designed during concepting and used to influence the look and feel moving forward.
