Role: User experience, Interface design, Branding, Prototyping
It's a simple idea. The app spontaneously connects someone with their friends or family for a short video call once every few days. I worked with a super talented team on the iOS app release. My role was to create the identity, UX wireframes, and interface design. There was a lot of opportunity to try out some animations and transitions incorporated throughout the app.
The logo's inspired by an old rotary phone — you know the kind with a rich ring and heavy handle that offered up a bit of a surprise at who could be on the other end. The app takes advantage of a flat style with some playful icons. And the website offers some scrolling animations while being fully responsive.
